Join us at the Centre for Community Partnerships for our Faculty gatherings

These are opportunities for faculty partners who have taught, are teaching, or plan to teach a service-learning course to come together for informal discussion. A Faculty Gathering provides a useful forum in which to connect with colleagues, share ideas and strategies, cross promote initiatives, and help the Centre for Community Partnerships in developing a suite of faculty development events.

Wednesday, March 21st from 1:00-3:00 at the Centre for Community Partnerships
569 Spadina Ave, 3rd Floor Meeting Room

This Gathering will feature one of CCP’s long-time faculty partners, Franco Taverna, Human Biology Program. For the first hour of the Gathering, Franco will speak about his experience, over the past four years, with teaching academic service-learning courses, his approach to community partnership building, facilitating student learning through reflection, and bridging academic concepts with community-based work.
