SERVE & LEARN

The city becomes the classroom through the Centre for Community Partnerships’ Serve & Learn program. Students have the opportunity to deepen their understanding of issues within the Toronto community through dozens of student-led co-curricular service-learning placements. Opportunities include working with children, youth, seniors, newcomers, food security issues, and poverty. Students will receive a certificate of participation at the end of their placement.


FROM 3 TO 3© Tutoring Program -Register before July 15th 2012

FROM 3 TO 3© is an innovative model program for young children. The purpose of the program is to develop children’s language and social understanding. Volunteer tutors are trained to use children’s books to help children learn to reason and tell stories. In the coming year we are looking for University students to volunteer as a tutor in kindergarten and Grade One classes.

TDSB Tutoring in High School Classrooms Program

Tutor and mentor high school students in schools located all across the GTA, supporting their academic acheivement while learning valuable leadership skills.
