Social Networking - the program is starting to link volunteers together through Facebook. We hope to start a Student-run Blog soon where volunteers can exchange their thoughts and experiences. If any of our volunteers is interested is helping with this initiative, please let us know!
OTHER BENEFITS:
You work closely with community members, teachers, early childhood educators and other volunteers.
You'll gain experience volunteering within a school-environment (TDSB).
Participation in this program offers CTEP students a valuable opportunity to complete one or more aspects of their field experiences.
You can accumulate valuable community hours for future applications (e.g.: B.Ed. program application).
This program is constantly supervised by coordinators.

There are opportunities in 25 schools, most of which are in the North Etobicoke area with some additional schools in Scarborough. Many of the students at these schools are new to Canada and are English Language Learners.
